On the initiative of our employees within Smith-Europe we have organized a fundraiser to support the Ukrainian people in these difficult times.
Fundraiser for Ukraine
On the initiative of our employees within Smith-Europe we have organized a fundraiser to support the Ukrainian people in these difficult times. From our branches in Belgium, Germany and Holland and our business partner The Waalhaven Group we have started a collection campaign for first aid goods and this has resulted in many pallets and trucks full with the most necessary items to get the refugees through the first shelter.
In addition, Smith-Europe has donated EURO 5000,- inorder purchased various products such as disinfectants, first aid kits, painkillers etcetera.
Next week all the goods will be delivered in Poland at the border with Ukraine.
We thank all our employees and our business partner The Waalhaven Group for their participation in this project and we hope that we have made a contribution to support the Ukrainian people in need.
