The Reefer Service Department specialises in providing technical service for reefer units. As the largest reefer service organisation in Europe we have all the necessary know-how and the required spare parts in stock to allow us to operate effectively and quickly, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
Smith-Holland's service is not tied to any location, we have branch offices in Belgium, France and Germany. As an independent reefer service company we have access to every container depot and every container terminal in Europe. Major damage repairs, retrofitting and refurbishment can be carried out in our repair workshop at the headquarters, Spijkenisse.
We have learned, by experience, that by offering technical assistance 24/7 and shipkit management from one centralised area for all vessels and subcontractors, generates a more effective operations which will eventually lead to costs saving of 20 - 35%.
